Happy Valentine’s Day + A Happy Announcement

Happy Valentine’s Day! Well, it’s official! We are moving to Denver, CO one week from tomorrow! Can you believe it?! We have so many mixed emotions about this move - we are excited and anticipate what this new chapter will hold, but we are also very sad to be leaving California which has become so close to our hearts & was our first married home together. We have so many close friends here that have really become family over the years, so it’s definitely difficult saying goodbye to these wonderful people. We are leaving behind a church that we love, Biola and the close friends that I’ve worked with over the years that we’ve become so close to, and all the fun memories we’ve made.

But the Lord has provided such contentment and peace in this decision to move to Colorado. In this final week we will be reflecting on all the good this first home has brought us and the ways God has provided. We moved here a month after getting married in 2016, started graduate school together here, got our first big-boy and big-girl jobs here, figured out the beautiful and messy life that is marriage here, made wonderful friends and memories here, graduated with our Master’s degrees here, cried a lot here, laughed a lot here, and so much more.

We will definitely keep the blog updated with our move to Colorado and all the adventures that are sure to come there! We know that every good and perfect give is from God our Father. We are thankful that He goes before and behind us and He knows what’s in store for our lives in Colorado. Denver is a really cool city that we have visited many times before so we are excited to get to explore it more, but now it will be our home! So many pictures to come - but for now, I’m just thinking about how we are leaving 80 degree weather and the beach for 30 degrees (& below) and the snow. Ha! Remind me to be excited about the seasons that I’ve always said I wanted come mid-December….
